Our Lead Pastor
Rev. Joe Sazyc has been in full time ministry for over 40 years, having been the lead pastor of three churches and Director of the Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship group at the University of Michigan. He was a member of the adjunct faculty of Central Bible College - Michigan and taught at Life Challenge of Southeastern Michigan in Detroit. He has also traveled extensively as a missionary and evangelist, and has been a key leader in bringing churches together in intercessory prayer, having founded the Intercessory Mission in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and the Justice House of Prayer in Dearborn. Both Pastor Joe and his wife Jeanne are graduates of the University of Michigan. Pastor Joe also holds a Master of Arts in Biblical Literature degree from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. Jeanne has taught children for over 35 years in many contexts and has been a beloved teacher to all her students. They have a wealth of experience, knowledge, and deep relationships with the Lord from which they minister. Pastor Joe and Jeanne enjoy family, children, working around the house, traveling, enjoying ethnic dining adventures, coffee, kayaking (mostly Joe), and most of all, serving people and God. They are the proud parents of three adult children and have a heart to foster and adopt children. Jeanne is also a homemaker and the founder of Tutor You, an in-home and online English tutoring business primarily for the families of Asian auto executives and post-doctoral researchers.
Our Children's Pastor
Rev. Lee Granada started ministry in 1980 as children’s evangelists. In 1985 he and his wife Linda were called to work at Chesterfield Assembly of God (later Northside Church) as Children’s Pastors. Lee served Northside Church as Children’s Pastor, Minister of Music, Director of Christian Education, Associate Pastor and Pastor. He retired from Northside Church in 2020. Linda has taught elementary children through Kid’s clubs and Children’s church. Besides helping in ministry any way she can, Linda has worked for the State of Michigan as well as in home health care. As for hobbies and interests Linda enjoys playing the flute, doing puzzles and playing pickleball. Lee enjoys fixing things (that can’t be made worse through giving it a try) and Music. Lee and Linda have been ministering to children, in one way or another, regularly over the past 40 years and are extremely blessed to serve under Pastor Joe at Port Huron Assembly.
Our Next Gen Evangelist
Stefan Suite received the call to evangelism in 2023. Since then he has gained over 174,000 subscribers to his YouTube channel where he boldly shares the good news of Jesus Christ. He regularly shares the gospel on the streets, on campus, in the malls, and wherever young people hang out. He is a student at St. Clair County Community College and the Student President of the local InterVarsity Christian Fellowship chapter there. He originally hails from south Florida. He loves reading, working out, and learning how to play the piano.
